Well the decorations are put away for another year and it is time to think about the new. The start of a new year always brings ideas of hope and change, whether it is personal change, community or even global. But the idea of change is what fuels us all on in the dull winter months. Here at the Girls we have always been passionate about self improvement and the overall betterment of women everywhere. We are a small company, not looking to change the world but if we can help just one person today than it has been a good day.
Starting January 2010, The Girls will be rolling out a new program... Fill Your Cup...By supporting the Girls you will be supporting The Coverdale Centre for Women Inc., a local organization that helps women of the Saint John and surrounding area. The Coverdale Centre is a drop-in center where women can find support, referrals to community services, general counselling, addiction counselling, positive recreation, and self-improvement courses. The Coverdale Center is also an affiliate of Dress for Success.
How are we going to help? When you fill your cup you are filling someone else's cup too. With the purchase of every bra at The Girls Bra Shop Inc the Girls will donate $1 to the Coverdale Center for Women Inc. It’s our way of Filling Their Cup.
Want to get involved? There are so many worthy causes out there that need your help. The Coverdale Center is all about helping women improve their self esteem, circumstance and self worth.
